The new feature on the vns.virtualnorthstar.org grid that allows one to select "advanced" and then clear cache is a wonderful tool. It has enabled me to clear out the Wonderland files that had been preventing my connection to MiRTLE for some time. Once I had cleared, I could connect to both SPC's and Essex College's Wonderland sites. Hooray!

Major updating

MiRTLE is loading slowly, but the several additions are very interesting. There are slideshows running in multiple rooms (same show, but good one) about MiRTLE and the Wonderland platform. The movement is still choppy as it has been for some time. Rather than frame rate, this involves sudden jumps in location. When that issue is fixed, the Essex project will be much smoother. The classroom with a static class, the lecture room with the slideshow, and the different explanations in the slideshow: all these are excellent improvements. Keep it up, Essex!

No issues with movement, sound, or anything else in MiRTLE today - nor with any of the other Wonderland environments I linked to from Virtual NorthStar.org. Excellent job all around!

Removal of the C:/Documents and Settings/username/.wonderland folder was the choke point in recent inability to run the Java WebStart. ~GS9
