The WinXP MiRTLE test started fine, but for some reason the navigation was unusable. All audio and visual was there. I rebooted the Java WebStart and had a seamless load, including navigation.
Testing Ubuntu now, and two other Win-based computers with different configuration.
EDIT:
Ubuntu systems that I tested have issues with using the Java WebStart link.
The dual-boot laptop with JDK and several other recent Java packs seems to want to bring up an error message after downloading. It says:
X app launch error: Cannot run program"/home/user/.wonderland/xremwin-webstart/ffsetup":java.io.IOException: error_2, No such file or directory
The standalone Ubuntu desktop, ancient hardware, no JDK of any sort, and running Ubuntu 7.10
kept trying to re-download the Java WebStart rather than run from the link on the browser.
Further details from 5/10/08
I tried the dual boot laptop again with Ubuntu, and while it uses Java 6 to run the applet to initialize Wonderland, the same X app launch error occurs. Missing file is causing IO Exception.
