Writer's Blox

The new Wonderland realms, lovingly crafted and carefully tweaked. They're cool, they're new, and they're available to you!

How would you write a commercial, a jingle, or develop a saying to sell the idea of using Wonderland for meetings, education, or anything that needed people to be "near each other" even when at a great distance? I got to thinking about this when I was trying to envision business cases for using this instead of anything else.

When you consider business cases, the bottom line is solid: Wonderland is basically free. Beyond that, the psychological feeling of being involved, more than in videoconferencing, less than in real face-to-face situations, yet somehow more focused... that would require some explanation before it's readily embraced. So then, just as I had been considering that, a retro commercial came on for Burma-shave. Most of us are far too young to have really experienced them, I'll admit. As an ad campaign it was amazing, involving series of signs and billboards, usually five in a row, with lines from rhyming jingles and a humorous finish.

So, how would YOU sell Wonderland as a tool for your organization?
