About this site

Welcome to Virtual Northstar, a project at Saint Paul College utilizing Sun Microsystem's Darkstar, Wonderland, and JVoiceBridge technologies to build an educational metaverse. It is based on open source software and centered around the 3D web. Our project is one of many under way at other colleges and universities around the world.

Documentation and Downloads

We follow the Sun open source philosophy here and therefore all of our "stuff" is available for you to use and experiment with. Once we figure out the open source licensing lingo we will attach it so for the time being we simply pass along the open source licensing framework adopted at Sun. Be nice kids and SHARE!
